Are you Skinny Fat?


Being thin doesn't make you healthy. New research in the journal of Obesity found that women who were a normal weight but had more than 30% body fat had symptoms associated with metabolic syndrome, a group of risk factors that raises the chances of developing heart disease. To determine your body fat, use a scale with BIA, which measures it for you. If you do not have this type of scale we have one at Spinlates that can measure it for you! If your body fat is high, strength-train twice a week to boost your lean muscle mass. In other words spinlates or pilates!
